So I'm showing some pictures of my city, Helsinki. As the capital of Finland, Helsinki is the biggest and most international of all Finnish cities. It has many kinds of districts, from the vivid, old centre to modern blocks of concrete boxes. Helsinki is little as it's big, at same time it's like other metropolises and a charming coastal town.

I'll tell you more about Finland later :--)

POIKA FINLANDAIS

Hello there!

I’m a sixteen-year old finnish young man. The reason why me and my friend, Pauline, wanted to found up this blog was that we wanted to tell something about our desires. Mine, of course, are French (and other European languages) and especially literature. 

I study six foreign languages at the moment: French, Latin, German, Swedish, English and Italian. I found it very interesting to be in touch with different ways of thinking; which come through the languages also. At the moment I study at Helsinki Normal Lyceum Upper Secondary, but I’ll leave Finland for IB studies in Waterford Kamhlaba UWC of Southern Africa next january.

I enjoy listening to music, hanging out with friends, writing and reading, taking photos. My daily life consits largely of these, but also of dreaming and thinking. Here I’ll let you know what’s going on in my life and thoughts.

Moikka!

Oon 16-vuotias suomalainen nuorimies. Syy, miksi minä ja ranskalainen kaverini Pauline haluttiin perustaa tämä blogi, oli se, että me haluamme kertoa jotain intohimoistamme. Minun, tietysti, ovat ranska muiden eurooppalaisten kielien rinnalla, ja erityisesti kirjallisuus.

Opiskelen kuutta vierasta kieltä Norssissa, Helsingissä. Minun mielestäni on kiinnostavaa olla yhteydessä erilaisiin ajattelutapoihin; jotka tulevat kielien kautta esiin. Ensi tammikuussa jätän Suomen ja Suuntaan Waterford Kamhlaba UWC of Southern Africaan opiskelemaan IB:tä.

Nautin musiikin kuuntelemisesta, hengailusta kavereiden kanssa, lukemisesta ja kirjoittamisesta, valokuvien ottamisesta. Elämäni koostuukin paljon näistä, mutta myös unelmoimisesta ja pohtimisesta. Täällä kerronkin mitä ajattelen ja mitä elämässäni tapahtuu :---)

Salut!

Je suis un garçon Finlandais qui s’appelle Tuure. La raison pour laquelle mon amie Pauline et moi meme avons decide de créer un blog, et due à notre appétit d’écrire nos désirs.
Pour ma part mon désir est le français! (et les autres langues européenes!) ainsi que la literature!
J’étudie six langues étrangères au lycée à Helsinki. Mais en janvier prochain, je vais aller en Swaziland pour étuider à Waterford Kamhlaba UWC of Southern Africa.
J’aime beaucoup la musique, l’écriture, la lecture et la photographie. J’etudie le français depuis maintenant seix mois. Dans ce blog, je vais écrire ma vie, la vie d’un jeune, en général!

Bonsoir! my name is Pauline, i'm a 16 year old girl, living in France ! My dad lives in paris, and I live in a small town near the “city of love” (that's what they like to call it, right?)

 France, is quite a boring country if you ask me, but that’s probably cause i've been living here forever! here are some random facts about me :)
- i love tv shows! Grey’s anatomy, private practice, glee, pretty little liars..
- i'm in love with that cold snowy country called FINLAND <3 (will talk more about this wonderful country in a bit!)
- i love internet! damn, it's so usefull!
- my friends are awesome and i'm so happy i have them by my side :)
- i hate school! well, i hate sitting in class and listen to random shit!
- i listen to music all the time!
- i love traveling! i've been to quite a few countries already !
- i am a REAL JEALOUS PERSON!
- i'm very talkative and i love to laugh!
- i think i'm pretty mature, at least that's what people tell me!
- i'll say i'm quite a funny person :) and i like helping people out!
- I am currently in a kind of international high school where i mostly study english due to my desire of taking the proficiency exam in two years! I also study german, and i've studied latin for 3 years.
- later i want to go into medical school, and hoepfully become a surgeon, pediatric surgeon, i would say!

SO yes, Finland ! Best country ever !! Some of you will probably ask : ok, fine but what’s there to love ?” and then I’ll say : E V E R Y T H I N G !! even school over there is awesome! can u believe it?
i love the food, the way people live, the way the dress.
I love the fact they are so calm and take life as it comes.
i love the nature, the thousand lakes, the forests, the smell of a peaceful environment.
I love parties, the drinks, the talks, the fun!
I love summer & winter.
I find the language quite catchy.
People are truely beautiful over there!

Bonsoir, je m'appelle pauline et j'ai 16 ans! j'habite en France à côter de Paris!
Je n'aime pas beaucoup mon pays, et je dois dire que je suis plutôt intéressé par la Finlande! C'est le pays le plus magique! J'ai l'impression que là bas, tout est parfait!
Mon ami Tuure et moi avons décidé de crée ce blog afin de partager avec vous nos impressions sur ces deux pays! Nous y posterons des photos, ainsi que des textes touchants les cultures, littératures et autres arts!
